~His hands returned to frame her face, his long fingers slipped into her hair. His touch was cold yet hot. On impulse, she nuzzled her cheek against his callused palm. A tiny sigh escaped her lips. His skin hummed with electricity, power. Unconsciously, her predatory instincts rose and her magic hungrily sought his aura, his energy—to feed.

He abruptly pulled away. Katya found the strength to lift her arms and blindly reached for him. No, she wanted to snarl, but couldn’t force the word out. Her fingertips brushed his unyielding chest drawing a harsh growl from him. A warning? She snapped her hands back. What had she been thinking? She knew better and attempted to utter an apology but again her voice refused to work.

“Take a deep breath. Go on. Inhale,” he urged from a distance.

She did.

“Exhale.”

She did. Again and again, she took in long cleansing breaths until the burning in her lungs faded.

“That’s good, dove,” he murmured.~

It's good to be back. Last week I was working so much I didn't have time get all my posts up and running. Been working on finishing up Wicked Passion and now Fade to Night.

Could there be a back to back release heading this way?

I know you all have been waiting for Wicked Passion (Under Realm Assassins #3) to hit. I was working on the final details and then "wham" I was struck with another idea and characters that wouldn't leave me alone.
So, Fade to Night was created. Now, I will be delaying the previous release to get these two in sync. Outlines have been made, writing has begun, and the cover is in the works. More details to follow!

This was a busy weekend. I can't recall the last time I've been more productive.
I was putting some finishing touches on Wicked Passion (Under Realm Assassins #3) when an idea struck for a new book. I tried to ignore the characters since I really need to focus on other projects, but they weren't having it. LOL
Here is my hero inspiration.
