Hello!

It has been ages since I posted a teaser. I'd like you all to meet Evyn Monroe. His book/world is one of the three projects I am currently juggling.

Yes, I am working on Caressed by Dawn (Rulers of Darkness, #6) and Fade to Night (Under Realm Assassins, #4), but Evyn is demanding writing time.

Welcome 2025

 Hello everyone, 

I hope you all are well and are looking forward to a new year. I'm excited to see what the future holds. The past few years have been a whirlwind. My husband and I have had 2 wonderful babies, and have gone through 3 big military relocations, all while I still maintained a full-time job. I've been scribbling scenes, chapters, story ideas and world building organizations whenever I can. 

This year, I'm going to share some of my scribbles with you and, with any luck, these scribbles will equal a book.

 Hello Readers,

I hope this message finds you well. Life has certainly been exciting this past year. We've made the big move from California to Virginia. Having sold our home in Cali and purchased a new home in Virginia we are hoping to stay for a while and put down some roots. That being said, being a military family, we go whenever and where over is needed. Thankfully, the hubs has about 5 years until he reaches retirement.

Lady G, our daughter, is growing soooo fast. Singing her ABC's (along with doing karaoke to Whitney Houston) and counting already and she's not even 2! Just blows my mind every day. 

For those of you that have been following me for awhile know my writing partner Miss Kelly, our cocker spaniel. It was with an extremely heavy heart and sadness that we had to say goodbye this August. She'd been in the final stage of heart failure since October 2020. The vet at that time anticipated she'd live another 6 months and she lived almost 2 years! Miss Kelly was our first fur baby and was 13 years old when she passed. We're very happy she made the move with us, and Mr. Barrett is now getting his comeuppance with our new pack member, Kimber - a chocolate lab/pit mix.

Yes, there have been a lot of changes in the past year and the previous 2 years. With things beginning to settle, I am FINALLY finding time to write. And I don't just mean snippets and random sentences here and there. Believe it or not, I finished a whole chapter today! This brings me so much joy. I've had 3 projects in the works and can say I am making real progress. 

What's to come...

Caressed by Dawn (Rulers of Darkness #6) will be Gannon and Silvie's romance. This is a large project since it will wrap everything up, and possibly be the final book within the series. 

The Darkest Light (Eternal Kiss #1) is a new trilogy/series and new world. Well, new-ish. I wrote the first draft of this book back in high school. I'm working on revamping this book and have decided to write at least 3 installments.

Fade to Night (Under Realm Assassins #4) is coming along as well. I've got a few pages of this completed and need to find the time to focus! But isn't that the story of my life?

 Hello everyone,

I hope 2021 is treating you all better than 2020. There have been so many changes over the past 2 years, leaving very little time to write. Sadly, I've had to put many projects on hold while I finished my degree, we relocated (and are about to move again for the hub's work), and the most exciting  thing happened at the start of the year, we welcomed our first child. Baby G has been growing in leaps and bounds. At 8 months, she has 4 teeth and has already begun stumbeling around the house.

I've been writing and reading when possible, and I will share updates when I have them.

 Hello all,

 I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during this crazy times. With so many things going on all at once, it's been difficult to balance it all: family life, work life, school life, military life, and my writing life. I had big plans for 2020 when it came to my books, but I am no where near my goal and, sadly, other book projects have had to take a backseat. If you have any questions, please comment or email me. If you are a part of my newsletter group, I will be sending out some updates regarding my scheduled book releases in October. 

All that being said, I do have some amazing personal news. Not only will I be graduating in the next few months with my next degree, but my husband and I are expecting our first child! We are beyond excited.

It's been awhile!

Hello everyone!

I hope this post finds you and your well family well. I've been away for awhile and my explanation is one word - LIFE.  Unfortunately, The Darkest Light expected release date has come and gone. I've been forced to push all of my projects back and I'm hoping to get back on track in the next few weeks. Once I have some solid information regarding timelines and release dates, I'll post!
