~Sonya slowly turned, flexed her hands. As flashed a smile, revealing her fangs, as her eyes grew dark and her claws extended.
She almost felt bad for unsuspecting hunters. She was no outcast vampire. She was not weak like countless blood bastards whose strength barely surpassed that of a mortal's.
"I think she wants a fight," the third announced.
The group fanned out, blocking her routes of escape.
Sonya had no intentions of fleeing. Retreat was not in her vocabulary.
The second hunter spat on the ground, then sneered. "I think she wants to lose her pretty demon head."
Oh, these poor ignorant witches.
"Just know, I'll take little pleasure from ripping you limb from limb." Her smile widened as a rough, satanic laugh shook her shoulders. "But a little is better than none."~

Happy New Year
Happy New Year Everyone!!!
The hectic holiday season is over and it's time for me to get back to serious writing!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and I wish you all the best for 2014. I can't wait to share Caressed by Shadows (Rulers of Darkness #4) with all my readers. I'll finally be graduating form college this year, which will free up a lot of time to dedicate to my works in progress of which there are many. After Caressed by Shadows, there will be 2 more installments in the Rulers of Darkness series, but don't worry, I've got plenty of other books planned, including Under Realm Assassins Series, a series yet to be titles, and a possibly trilogy which will begin with Passion's Prey. Yep, I've got a lot of work ahead of me!
I'm really looking forward to the Indie Romance Convention in Sept. I last year's was a blast!
