But after a few days of research and waiting for his target to show, he begins to suspect he has wasted his time. That is, until he meets a curvaceous blonde with bewitching green eyes at the local bar. One night with the enchanting Analette could make this useless trip well worth his time.

Their passion is undeniable and unbeknownst to them, their fates are intertwined. Magic and romance will strike on Christmas, changing their lives forever.

~ He crossed the small, sparsely furnished living area to the hearth to build a fire. Heat quickly chased away the chill of the rustic cabin. Two arm chairs rest by a heavily draped window, an old couch claimed the center of the room along with a weathered wood coffee table. To the left was a nearly nonexistent kitchenette, which oddly enough featured brand new appliances, but no table or chairs. To the right was a lone door. The bedroom?

~ Gregory traced the edge of her panties with his finger. His thumb brushed over her clitoris, drawing a breathless sigh from his woman. He allowed his fangs to extend the tiniest bit. He scrapped the sharp points down the smooth column of Amber's throat, sending toe curling shivers down her spine. 

"I'm going to have you, Amber." His deep, sex roughened whisper caused her to shutter.~

This book really takes me back. Surrender My Love is the first romance novel I ever read.Previously, I had read YA paranormal, but one summer I was super board, home alone, and came upon this book. I've always loved history, especially the Viking period, and decided to give this a try. My affair with romance novels, historical or otherwise, has been going strong ever since.
