Review:
Victoria has nothing left in this world but her little sister Margaret. Unfortunately, their guardian, Aunt Nelly, is threatening to take even that away from her. Aunt Nelly despises Victoria and tells her that unless she is able to find and marry a rich man by the end of the month, Margaret will be taken from her. So Victoria begins her search, only to find that she is frustrated. She meets Prince Dorian who seems to want her, but she wants nothing to do with him. One night Aunt Nelly sees the two outside and banishes Victoria from the home and her sister. With no where else to go Victoria goes to Dorian and he says that he will marry her. Both enter the relationship for the wrong reasons, but can they find love? When Dorian's clan is in danger and Victoria finds out what he really is can she accept him and can they save his people and themselves?
This was a story of how even when you think you are doing something for one reason, you sometimes find that exactly what you are looking for is right in front of your face. This story is of loving someone even if you didn’t want to in the beginning. It was a quick read that actually had some great drama in it. It also has some steamy love scenes for anyone that enjoys that.
