Review:
LOVED IT!
This has become one of my favorite within this series. I felt that this was a great beauty and the beast type love story. Malkom Slaine stole my heart from the first and Carrow Graie was strong and goal orientated.
The book stars with past scenes of Malkom's life then flashes forward to Carrow in a high security cell.
In order to gain, not only her freedom, but also her newly adopted young daughter's, she agrees to go to a hell plane to draw a crazed vampire/demon out of hiding - Malkom is an extremely strong, extremely rare being within the Lore and the human's (who have captured many Lore creatures) wants to experiment on him.
What Carrow finds it not exactly what she expects. She and Malkom grow close, but all the while she knows she must betray him to save her daughter.
I really don't want to say more, I don't like ruining books. You will just have to read this one for yourself and you won't be disappointed.
This is my favorite of the series. It had something to do with that oh so sexy language barrier.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about the language barrier...My favorite is Dark Needs at Night's Edge. I LOVE CONRAD!!!! Boarder line crazy, hunky, dangerously sexy vampire - count me in :D
