Question of the Week: What's
your favorite way to beat the heat? With a light and humorous romance? A
book set in the chilly north or maybe a Christmas in July special? Or
is hotter better, do you crank up the heat with a sexy romance?
When I'm laying out at the beach or by the pool (beating the heat with a nice tropical drink in hand), I like to read an old favorite. I like to go back to my tried and true hero and heroines.
Fires of Winter by Johanna Lindsey

(An enchanting Viking romance set in Northern Europe)
The Wolf And The Dove by Kathleene Woodiwiss

Dark Lover by J.R. Ward
In the shadows of the
night in Caldwell, New York, there's a deadly turf war going on between
vampires and their slayers. There exists a secret band of brothers like
no other-six vampire warriors, defenders of their race. Yet none of them
relishes killing more than Wrath, the leader of The Black Dagger
Brotherhood.
The only purebred vampire left on earth, Wrath has a score to settle with the slayers who murdered his parents centuries ago. But, when one of his most trusted fighters is killed-leaving his half-breed daughter unaware of his existence or her fate-Wrath must usher her into the world of the undead-a world of sensuality beyond her wildest dreams.

So, how do you beat the heat? A super sexy read? A sweet and light romance? Or something else?
Can never go wrong with a BDB novel.
