 “Ask me.” His breath caressed her neck, sending another wave of heat through her.

She shifted closer, her hips taking up a sinful rhythm. She needed more contact. Her claws sliced down his back, tearing his shirt to shreds. The material fell from him. Fraya devoured him with her eyes as she ran her hands over the muscles of his back and over his shoulders. He grabbed her wrists and pushed her back. The counter was cool against her exposed skin.

Fraya sighed and welcomed his heavy weight. His chest pressed her

down, pinning her beneath him. Her thighs tightened around his waist.

The vampire kissed along her jaw and back down to her frantically beating pulse.

“Ask me,” he said again.

“W-what?” she gasped.

“Ask me to bite you.”

She wet her lips. “No.”

Her brain was barely working and though she would love to know his bite, self-preservation screamed ‘no’. It also demanded she stop encouraging his touch. But instinct told her good sense to shut-up. She needed his touch. She needed his kiss, his body. He was her mate. Her dangerous, sexy as hell, alpha, that could protect her and give her the most amazing pleasure.

“Do you want me to bite you?” he asked, his fangs tickling her throat.

Yes, she wanted to beg him to sink his lethal fangs deep into her, but she managed to stammer a denial.
