Question of the Week: What was the
last book that kept you up late into the night just to finish and got
you all worked up in the process? (You know what I'm talking about
*wink*)
Perfect question! This actually happened to me last night/this morning. I was up until 4am finishing Eternal Kiss of Darkness by Jeaniene Frost. I really enjoyed this book. Kira was an awesome heroine and Mencheres was powerfully sexy. Together, they were a fantastic couple. I loved their easy conversations and how their personalities just clicked. They also set fire to the sheets. If you haven't read this one, you should :)
Now, it is your turn to share. Which was the last book that kept you up late?
Eternal Kiss of Darkness
Jeanien Frost
Chicago private investigator Kira Graceling should have just kept on walking. But her sense of duty refused to let her ignore the moans of pain coming from inside a warehouse just before dawn. Suddenly she finds herself in a world she's only imagined in her worst nightmares.
At the center is Mencheres, a breathtaking Master vampire who thought he'd seen it all. Then Kira appears - this fearless, beautiful....human who braved death to rescue him. Though her burns for her, keeping Kira in his world means risking her life. Yet sending her away is unthinkable.
But with danger closing in, Mencheres must choose either the woman he craves, or embracing the darkest magic to defeat an enemy bent on his eternal destruction.
When this one first came out I wasn't sure I was going to like it but I should have known never to doubt Ms. Frost! lol
