Strange Neighbors
by Ashlyn Chase
4 of 5 Stars
Description:
He's looking for peace, quiet, and a little romance...
There's never a dull moment when hunky all-star pitcher and shape-shifter Jason Falco invests in an old Boston brownstone apartment building full of supernatural creatures. But when Merry MacKenzie moves into the ground floor apartment, the playboy pitcher decides he might just be done playing the field...
A girl just wants to have fun...
Sexy Jason seems like the perfect fling, but newly independent nurse Merry's not sure she's ready to trust him with her heart...especially when the tabloids start trumpeting his playboy lifestyle.
Then pandemonium breaks loose and Merry and Jason will never get it together without a little help from the vampire who lives in the basement and the werewolf from upstairs...

Review:
Ms. Chase has done an excellent job with creating something new and fun-an apartment building filled with paranormal creatures:shape-shifters, vampires, and witches.

Jason Falco is a baseball star with a dark secret and Merry is a nurse with a big heart. The two are so cute together. The only down side was two of the supporting characters were very annoying and i found myself skipping paragraphs and pages when they arrived. His aunt was over the top nosy and irritated me, which was most likely the point of her character and, in that respect, Ms. Chase did very well with writing her personality. I don't wish to spoil the book for those of you who have yet to read it, so i won't share with you who else i found slightly annoying.
I did enjoy this book. It was a sweet read with some spicy scenes. I have already purchase book #3 and now need book #2 so i can continue with the series. If you haven' t already, I just you add Strange Neighbors to your TBR list.
